One aspect of how I work is with psycho-education and raising awareness of more helpful communication styles and addressing better ways to deal with defensiveness and vulnerability when it is triggered.

It's about creating more helpful ways of relating that keep you turning towards each other and communicating, and not away from each other where communication becomes broken down.

There are always conflicts in relationships but we will look at how to navigate these moments in a way that keeps you feeling secure that the other person isn't going to reject you even though you may disagree and is still there for you, loves and cares for you.
