Hi, I’m Angela, and I’m passionate about helping people not just survive life’s challenges but truly thrive. My approach to counselling is rooted in the belief that every individual has the potential to create a fulfilling and meaningful life, no matter where they start.
I established Thrive Therapy in 2012, a private counselling practice based in Burton-on-Trent and available online. I work with a wide range of issues, including low self-esteem, confidence struggles, stress, anxiety, depression, difficult relationships, phobias, chronic pain, illness, and IBS.
My strength lies in my multi-modal approach to therapy, which allows me to draw from a diverse range of evidence-based theories and skills. Recognizing that every individual and situation is unique, I believe there is no one-size-fits-all solution. This flexibility enables me to adapt my approach to meet your specific needs and the focus of each session.
I am an accredited memeber of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and hold an advanced diploma in Psychotheraeuputic Counselling and Clinical Hypnotherpy.
My ongoing studies and practice include various evidence-based therapeutic methods, all proven to support meaningful transformation in our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and personal development. These include areas such as stress management, navigating narcissistic relationships, overcoming imposter syndrome, stop the people-pleasing, improving sleep quality, and wellness coaching, among others.

Together, we’ll create a space where you can explore what’s holding you back, develop practical strategies for growth, and reconnect with your ability to flourish.

Sessions are held: Monday to Wednesday, 8am - 8pm.
